I have been doing light for 30 years.
Starting as a small lighting technician at concerts and festivals, to lighting operator and master, to team leader RnD Light, I discovered my love for light and if I didn't know something in the past, I taught myself with the help of Herbert's legendary lighting homepage.
Today he is a colleague and we share over 73 years of lighting experience to make Cameo products more and more user-friendly. I am lucky to be able to work with these great colleagues from the Cameo team and develop the most beautiful thing in the world, LIGHT!
And as people from the theatre know: You can do without sound, but you can't do without light! 😊

A combination of dynamic design and light energy generates a design philosophy. This enables a brand with its products to assert itself in the "universe of things". As a guitarist, I am surrounded by light on stage. With the Cameo brand, as an industrial designer, I get the chance to design the light sources. It's a downright magical mix!

Lighting technology plays a very special role for me here. After all, events and festivals are what they are thanks to the visual highlights. I am Ron. I am a - Lumen Being.
My definition of light does not exist in electromagnetic radiation or waves in a scientific sense.
LIGHT IS LIFE. Like me and others, we are magically attracted to light. As a creative designer, it is my passion to define, create and catch that essence in my art.
CAMEO´s passion for light is to create emotion in a special moment, which will be remembered for a lifetime. Cameo inspires me with that spark (light) and that´s why I love my job and working with Cameo.
